This is my version of a German soldier in WW1.   The headsculpt is a stripped and repainted DML headsculpt.
He has a M1916 Stahlhelm helmet painted field grey, with a black leather chinstrap. The helmet is by Tony Barton.
Some helmets had a plate screwed to the front for extra protection. There were also various camoflauged paint jobs.

He has a M1915 "Gummimaske" metal gas mask cannister, painted grey, carried on a green cloth sling.
