This is my version of Denzel Washington as the character " Trip" from the movie "GLORY".

At the time this movie came out, I really wasn't into it, but the more I saw it, the more I became inspired to do a figure from this movie.

This is him on the march to their first real battle at James Island, South Carolina on July 16, 1863, with the rest of the 54th Massachusetts.

The 54th performed admirably during the battle at James Island. There they turned back an attack by the Confederate Army.

This figure is a BBI "Rogue" figure, which has a remarkable resemblance to Denzel. The Tunic, Kepi, ammo pouch, scabbard, and haversack are all from Battlegear Toys.

The pants, boots, canteen rifle, & knapsack are from SideShow Toys.
