This
is my version of James Coburn's character, Rolf Steiner, from the movie "Cross of Iron". Most of the figures that I've seen done
of Steiner from this movie focuses on him later in the movie, when he already has the Russian SMG. I tried to make mine
from the opening scenes, during the 1st attack of the movie. In this scene, Steiner was still using an MP40 SMG.
As you can see, I had to add in the obligatory Russian SMG pic
Most everything for this figure is
from Dragon Models Ltd, except for the headsculpt, which I got from Francis Tavares of Battlefields. The boots are Newline
Miniatures leather German jackboots.
