This figure is somewhat based off of a figure from the Osprey book"British Infantry Equipment, 1808-1908".
This figure wears a red frock coat with working buttons, with the St. Andrews badges on the collar, and the "RH" symbols on the shoulders,  cut away at the bottom to show his sporran.  He has the 1871 valise equipment, with a mess tin in a black oilskin covering.  He carries the 1871 Martini-Henry rifle with the socket bayonet. He has black short boots with white gaiters and red and black argyle socks.

He wears the Foreign service helmet, with a gold chain chin strap,a puggaree and the red hackle of the Black Watch.  The sporran also has the St. Andrews badge on it.
He also wears a haversack, that's actually filled with handmade food items.  He carries his Oliver water bottle on his right hip, I think that I can make a better one the next time I try.
