This will be my attempt to chronicle my goal to become a scratch or + golfer by the end of 2012, and to eventually make it through the PGA Tour Q-school.

Right now my Handicap is a 13.4.  When looking at my golf game objectively, I have to say that I can't find 1 part of my game that I stand out in.  My driving is decent, but I miss too many fairways.  My Irons are really erratic, hit my 6 iron good, but have a really bad hook with my 5 iron.  Short game is really inconsistant.  My putting is decent, now I'm down to 2 or 3 3-putts a round.  Really need to work harder on my lag putting.

My plan, much like the "Dan Plan", is to start doing deliberate practicing to improve every part of my game.  I usually try to put in 2 hrs a day of golf practice.  Out of this time I work on all 4 aspects of my game, putting, range work with the wedges and irons(odd numbered clubs 1 day, evens the next), woods, and the short game.

I think i'll start hitting all my wedges and 9 and 8 irons daily, along with my driver and either 3 wood or 5 wood.

Nov. 21- No range work today. played 9 holes @ Roosvelt Golf Course.  Wasn't really able to keep my score as I was mapping the golf course for my skycaddie SGX.  Hit my 5wood pretty good, but my wedges sucked.

Nov. 22- No range work again.  I neeed to get back to it.  Played 18 holes at Lost Canyons Shadow course.  Shot a 89.  Irons were really bad and my putting was also bad.  Tomorrw is a new day, so I can get out and practice like I should.
